No truth to Leong pregnancy rumours

CHINA Press reported that there is speculation that Malaysian songstress Fish Leong (pic) is pregnant again.

The speculation stemmed from a social media post by Leong’s good friend, Taiwanese artiste Valen Hsu, in which she wrote that she had promised Leong that she would not talk about “a secret”.

Leong’s manager denied the news, however, adding that the Taiwan-based Mandopop star was busy with her concerts.

Leong married Taiwanese businessman Tony Zhao in 2010. The couple have a three-year-old son, Anderson Zhao.

> Police had to step in to resolve a dispute involving a vegetable seller who scolded a woman for not buying anything from her after asking about the prices, Guang Ming Daily reported.

The incident happened at a wet market in Shapingba, Chongqing, in China on Tuesday evening.

It is learnt that the customer, known only as Chen, was checking out the vegetables at Zhu’s stall.

However, Chen decided not to buy them and walked away.

Zhu then sarcastically told Chen not to ask about the prices if she could not afford to buy anything. Chen turned back and tried to talk to Zhu, but the vendor kept scolding her.

Onlookers came forward to support Chen but Zhu refused to back down, so a police report was lodged.

Zhu admitted that she had a bad temper and business was bad that day due to rainy weather.

She later apologised to Chen.
