Prawn farm caretaker to know fate after being found guilty of sodomising two stepsons

JOHOR BARU: A prawn farm caretaker will be the first to be brought to a special court for child sexual crimes for sodomising his two underaged stepsons.

The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to all five charges against him in front of Sessions Judge Mohammad Khalid Ab Karim here yesterday.

He admitted to committing the monstrous acts between April last year and July this year.

In the first charge, the accused was alleged to have inserted his middle finger into the 11-year-old’s anus at a house in Kampung Tanjung Resang near Endau in Mersing.

He had also inserted his middle finger again inside the same victim’s anus inside a car at Dataran Pulau in Mersing.

In the third charge, the accused also inserted his penis into the victim’s anus at Dataran Pulau near Mersing.

The accused, who is still married to the victims’ mother, inserted his private part again into the same victim’s anus behind a cracker production factory in Mersing.

The accused had also inserted his index finger inside his seven-yearold stepson’s anus at a house located just next to the prawn farm in Mersing.

Judge Mohammad Khalid set Aug 3 for the next mention. The accused will then be brought to the special court for child sexual crimes to be sentenced.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Suhaila Shafi’uddin prosecuted the case while the accused was not represented.
