Money games cause a lot of suffering

I WAS in a coffee shop, sharing a table with two men who had come back from China on a business trip.

They told me that money games have given our country a bad image as the newspapers there had reported that many people in China lost a lot of money. They claimed that they had been cheated.

The money game operations have caused a lot of suffering to many people.

One of my friend’s relatives had to go into hiding because he had coaxed his friends and relatives to invest their money in the schemes, and now they are going after him.

A relative of mine lost a lot of her hard-earned money in the scheme, money which took her many years to accumulate – she lost it in just a few months.

We hope that the authorities will tighten the rules and regulations to prevent such schemes from being set up in future.
