Not the toilet at new MRT station

WE refer to the letter by Guna Segaran Arumugam (“Locked toilet at new MRT station”, The Star, July 24).

We wish to clarify that the washroom referred to by the writer was not that of the MRT Sungai BulohKajang Line, but that of another service provider.

Unless they are not in working order, the washrooms at all MRT, LRT and monorail stations are generally available to all commuters who have entered the paid area of the stations.

We trust the above clarifies.
