> Totally despicable

Thumbs up to R.AGE for exposing trafficking of Bangladeshi students here. MACC should immediately start investigating if individuals in the Immigration Department collaborated with these private colleges. Our embassy in Dhaka should also be proactive in exposing the rogue agents and colleges involved. – Concerned

Local trafficking rings who dupe Bangladeshi families to part with hard-earned savings to send their children for further studies here must be broken and the masterminds put behind bars for an extended period. Local colleges who knowingly go along are also culpable. The R.AGE team should be commended for uncovering this despicable scheme. – 5th Beatle The government of Bangladesh and their embassies have a very important role to play. The host country can only do so much to eradicate human trafficking. It’s whether you have the will to do what needs to be done to prevent your own citizens from becoming victims of traffickers in a foreign country that matters. – GetSmart The trafficking of Bangladeshi students is terribly upsetting. These people traffickers are not human and must be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law. Not only have they stolen people’s hard-earned savings but also their hopes and dreams of a better future.

> Gender point of view

A factory worker claimed his wife would cane him whenever he couldn’t meet her insatiable appetite for sex. If a man does the same thing to his wife, he would be arrested and charged in court for domestic violence. Isn’t this gender bias? – DMK

> Misbehaving citizens

Referring to “Couple apologise for berating senior citizen at Singapore hawker centre”, Malaysia should emulate Singapore. There are too many badly behaved citizens nowadays.– Disgusted, Sungai Petani

> Long wait for refund

I requested to cancel ETS ticket I bought online. KTMB call centre staff told me refund would be 75% only because I used a credit card and it would take six months to process. Can KTMB explain the long wait, please? – VK SP

> Shorts banned

Education Minister should investigate why many SK and SMK schools prohibit students from wearing shorts during PE class. Is this an order from the ministry or just the work of little Napoleons? – Ckeong

> Walk the talk

Indah Water should be accountable for what they say. On TV, they say they are doing a good job. The problem of sewerage spilling into bathrooms in Sungai Pelek, Sepang is intolerable. What happens if someone gets ill due to the spill?
