Beggar makes ‘miracle recovery’ when confronted

-

A WOMAN seeking donations by claiming to be severely ill “miraculously” got up and walked away when a cameraman became curious about her plight, Guang Ming Daily reported.

The woman’s daughter would kneel by the roadside in Shanxi province asking for money, while the woman would lie on the pavement beside her.

When a cameraman approached the daughter on Tuesday, she said she was forced to beg as her father was also ill and she needed a lot of money to treat her parents.

The man then watched them and estimated that they could collect around 200 yuan (RM129) an hour.

However, when he asked the daughter if he could call the relevant authorities to help, she quickly stopped him from doing so.

And when they realised that he was taking pictures of them, they both fled the scene quickly – even the “seriously ill” mother.
