POLICE rescued a teenage Moroccan girl, who was allegedly cheated and turned into a sex slave, from a house in Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur, China Press reported.

The 19yearold girl befriended a 59yearold Sudanese man through another friend, and was told that he could arrange for her to work at a beauty parlour in Malaysia.

However, when she arrived in Malaysia on July 26, she was detained at the house in Jalan Ampang and was also sexually abused, she said,

The girl sought help from a friend in Malaysia and was rescued on Aug 19.

The police also arrested the 59yearold man and another Sudanese man aged 56.

Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Mohamad Roy Suhaimi Sarif said the suspects claimed they imprisoned the girl because she was not familiar with the country.

“The girl was sexually abused almost every day and they treated her as a sex slave,” he said.

The man, whose age was not reported, had a quarrel with a woman in her 20s at Parit Jawa in Muar, Johor, at about 2pm on Tuesday.

The daily said the woman then took out a knife, stabbed the man, and fled.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment.

The report said the man could not afford to pay the woman.

> A 20yearold woman who sought medical help from a bomoh was sexually assaulted by the man instead, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The woman complained of stomach pain and her mother brought an Indonesian bomoh to treat her at their house in Sibu Jaya, Sarawak, on Monday.

It was learnt that the man massaged the woman in front of the mother and another relative.

He then went into the bathroom when she was taking a shower and raped her before leaving the house.

The woman still complained of stomach pain the next day and the assault came to light when she sought treatment at a hospital.

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Saiful Bahri Abdullah said the hospital lodged a police report and the bomoh was arrested on Wednesday.
