Girl calls out seven others to fight over boyfriends

-

A SECONDARY school student in Sandakan, Sabah, challenged seven other girls to a oneonone fight in school and told those who lost to hand over their boyfriends to her.

Oriental Daily reported that the challenge which was posted on her Facebook page a few days ago garnered over 1,000 likes within hours, and was shared more than 3,000 times.

However, most of the comments were critical of her, saying that she had tarnished the school’s image.

The daily said the girl had initially expressed her feelings for a boy on Facebook and alleged her schoolmate had “stolen” him from her.

Her challenge to the seven girls was aimed at winning him back, it was reported.

However, the fights did not take place and school authorities advised the girl to take down the post.

Her Facebook page has been deactivated.

> Sin Chew Daily reported that a former senior assistant at a primary school in Singapore has been charged in court over a series of sexual offences he allegedly committed against a 14yearold pupil between 2003 and 2006.

The 55yearold man faces 11 charges, including three for molesting the boy and six for having unnatural sex with him, allegedly on the school premises and at his home.

According to the charge sheet, the man also allegedly touched the boy’s genitals at the school gym in 2003, and that sometime in 2004, he had purportedly taken the boy back to his flat and committed similar acts on the victim. He reportedly brought the boy home at least four times between 2004 and 2006 and performed indecent sexual acts on him, including oral sex.

The man was also charged with having an uncensored movie and nine pornographic films.

> The daily also reported that rumours are rife that singer Datuk Siti Nurhaliza will take on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Pekan in the next general election, on a Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia ticket.

A poster featuring Siti as a Pribumi candidate for the parliamentary seat has been making its rounds on social media.

Pahang Pribumi chairman Wan Mohd Shahrir Abd Jalil, who is also the party’s supreme council member, said he was unsure about the matter but added that she would have Pakatan Harapan’s full support if she is contesting.

Asked if the Pahangborn music icon is a party member, Wan Mohd Shahrir said he only heard about it and said she might not have made it public since she is a celebrity.

“The Pekan seat is not easy to contest. The candidate has to be charismatic and Pakatan Harapan has not found a suitable candidate to take on Najib directly so far,” he said, adding that the seat used to be contested by PKR.

When contacted, Siti’s manager merely replied “no comment”.
