> Use satellite technology

MACC and the forestry departments can help prevent the “rape of the hills” from illegal logging and illegal farming if they make use of satellites to survey the environment. – modentech

> Include hard labour

The monster dad who raped his daughter should also be sentenced to 10 years of hard labour to pay back for the cruelty he committed on his daughter. – Unforgiven

> Same old views

PAS labelling of an upcoming beer festival as vice borders on the bizarre. It’s the same narrowmindedness that led them to protest the staging of the Selena Gomez concert in Shah Alam. Instead of continuing to espouse archaic views, PAS should urgently address the moral issues plaguing its state of Kelantan. Ours is a secular country. Consuming beer per se does not infringe any law. PAS, get real, please. – 5th Beatle

> On the defensive

Poor Aung San Suu Kyi is getting the stick for the acts of the military who are the de facto rulers of Myanmar. I believe she dares not openly go against the policy of the military for fear that she may be detained again.

> Keep off the highways

Our cyclists should stop training on the highways as they are exposed to accidents due to speeding vehicles. – SMY PD

> Affordable homes

> Telephone service

Astro, please have a customer service phone line for people who don’t use computers. If we don’t have a computer or Internet, we can call your phone line and talk to your customer service people.

> No upgrade

JPA, why aren’t assistant administrators (clerical and operations) with diploma or degree being upgraded to N29 like the assistant financial administrators? Similar grades under the relevant ministry are being taken care of but sadly not those under JPA.

> This is vice

Wipe out the gambling dens in Selangor. We do not want to be known worldwide as the largest gambling centre in Asia. People are gambling and drinking in these outlets. – Do Something

> More English shows, please

Disappointed with Media Prima. Most of the programmes on NTV7 and 8TV are Chinese-oriented and TV3 shows are geared for the Malay audience. Where are the NTV7 and 8TV that used to show a variety of English programmes last time? The channels lack good English shows.
