I dreamt of my baby boy, says mum-to-be Amyra

-

ACTRESS and mum-to-be Amyra Rosli (pic) dreamt that she was getting a baby boy just before a checkup the next day confirmed it, reported Sinar Harian.

The Tersuka Tanpa Sengaja

actress, who married actor Amar Baharin, 32, in November, said she told her husband about the dream but didn’t expect it to be prophetic.

Amyra, 26, said people had told her she could be carrying a boy because her belly was “protruding sharply”.

Amar said he did not care about the baby’s gender, just as long as it was healthy.

“In terms of shopping for baby stuff, I’m more excited than my wife. It’s a good thing that she has been advising me a lot,” said the Kerana Terpaksa Aku Relakan actor.

Despite negativism among some of their fans, the couple have started an Instagram account for their son, who is due in October.

“We’ll do it our way. This is to share our happiness with our fans,” said Amar.

> Harian Metro reported that UPSR candidate Khadijah Suzami, who was diagnosed with stage two leukaemia in July last year, sat for the exam at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital in Kubang Kerian, Kelantan.

The 12-year-old, who has been home-schooled by her parents since her diagnosis, was in high spirits and hoped to obtain excellent results despite not sitting for the trial exams because she was undergoing chemotherapy at the time.

“I stopped going to school last year and my parents have been teaching me at home.

“No matter how much pain I am in, I still want to do my best. My parents are here for me and they support me,” she said.

Her mother Nazura Md Noor, 40, said Khadijah had been hospitalised since Aug 21 due to an infection.

“She’s been here for more than two weeks and to help her prepare for the UPSR, I brought her revision books,” she said.

> SJK (C) Phooi Min in Teluk Rhu, Sabak Bernam, only has one UPSR candidate this year, reported Kosmo!.

Mohamad Nabil Thaqif Adam, 12, is the sole candidate at the school and one of 1,971 pupils sitting for the exam in that area.

School headmaster Law Yet Yeeng said this was the first time that the school only had one Year Six pupil.

“Last year, we had four UPSR candidates while in 2015, there were five,” she said.
