Two siblings survive fall from third floor

-

TWO young siblings fell from the third floor balcony after their father allegedly locked them inside the apartment unit and rushed to work, Guang Ming Daily reported.

The father apparently locked them in after picking them up from a nursery in Guangdong province on the afternoon of Sept 15.

It is believed the elder child fell down when she stood on a stool as she was trying to see over the balco- ny wall.

Passers-by rushed to help the girl before noticing her younger brother following suit.

Both children are still receiving treatment at a hospital.

Major Chinese dailies reported that hundreds of fans attended his 56th birthday celebration on Saturday night.

The singer performed several songs and danced on the stage, Oriental Daily reported.

Many fans left messages on Lau’s fanclub website, saying that they were happy to see Lau back on stage again.

They said Lau danced and sang during the celebration proved that he was recovering well.

Lau’s Malaysian wife Carol Choo and daughter Hanna also attended the celebration.

He even managed to carry his five-year-old daughter, who was asleep after the celebration, into his car.

It was believed that Lau has recovered well after taking a break from the stage for about six months.
