A WOMAN claimed that she was molested by a man travelling with his wife in an express bus from Segamat to Johor Baru, reported China Press.

During the 7pm incident on Sept 16, the 25-year-old woman, known only as Chen, said she was sleeping when she felt the man, who was sitting behind her, touching her breast.

Chen said she was shocked and stood up but the man pretended to be sleeping.

She said she then called her mother on her handphone, who advised her to seek help from the driver.

However, the driver did not understand what Chen was trying to tell him so she called the police.

When they finally reached the bus station, she told the suspect’s wife about the incident but the woman only asked her husband to apologise to Chen.

The couple left the station before the policemen arrived. Kulai OCPD Supt Razak Md Said said the police are investigating the case.
