Girl raped on friend’s date

Teen brought to rented flat where four youths assault her

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was raped while accompanyi­ng her best friend on a date.

China Press reported that she accompanie­d her friend who had befriended a youth via WeChat around midnight on Sept 15.

The youth turned up for the date with two male friends and brought the girls to a rented flat in Selangor where three other youths were waiting.

Four of the youths then pulled the victim into a bedroom and raped her.

The daily reported that they recorded the rape and threatened the girl not to tell anyone about it or the footage would be posted online.

The youths also used the video clips to blackmail the girl for more sexual favours after the incident.

The girl lodged a police report recently. Police are trying to trace the suspects.

Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that the runner told the 71-year-old woman that lodging a police report could deter other loan sharks from seeking payment from her.

The woman, who lives in a flat unit in St John Hill, Melaka, said the runner went to her house at about 10pm on Monday.

“The man was quite nice and urged me to lodge a police report,” she said, adding she did it on Thursday.

The 69-year-old man said his bills were previously between RM200 and RM300 a month but increased to RM1,000 after the meter was changed in February.

He paid half the amount as he feared that the power might be cut off, but lodged a complaint with Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

The man, who claimed that there were only two occupants in his house, said he had paid a total of RM3,300 since the meter was changed.
