Stewardess coy about ties with singer Shahir
PETALING JAYA: The woman linked to singer Shahir Zawawi has asked him to explain the truth about their relationship.
Mona, whose full name is Mona Syamimi Mohd Samsudin, 27, said she was neither his fan nor a supporter of the reality TV programme AF Megastar, as claimed by Shahir.
“I’m not his fan or supporter as he said. I’m not even a fan of AF Megastar,” she told mStar Online.
Mona was asked to comment on her relationship with Shahir after a photo of them went viral on social media.
Shahir had said that Mona, a flight atten dant, was a fan and that they were just friends.
According to Mona, she got to know Shahir via Instagram and they started becoming close a month ago.
She also admitted that she often went out with Shahir alone and with their other friends. “It’s just that now I’m busy and he is, too, with the AF Megastar finals,” she added.
However, she remained tightlipped on the nature of their relationship and asked Shahir himself to spill the beans.
“I don’t know, maybe we’re still in the friendship stage. Whatever it is, ask him again about our relationship. Don’t wait until other things surface,” she added.
Mona also said she knew about Shahir’s relationship with actress Erra Fazira.
