> Jail’s the place for them

Time and again, we learn that drivers involved in road fatalities have a string of unsettled traffic offences. Human lives are at risk when these “animals” are let loose on the road. What’s the police doing? Can’t these irresponsible drivers be tracked down and put behind bars? So sad. Authorities, stop making a mockery of the laws on explosives (fireworks). Enforce them! Fireworks are still being let off one week after Deepavali in Taman Desa KL! > Time for soul searching

Malaysia’s failure to be elected to the United Nations Human Rights Council last week is definitely a disappointment and raises many questions. Saying we did not get the expected votes from Myanmar and North Korea is a poor excuse. Time for some honest introspection in explaining this poor result. – JC > Request for exemption
