Fun family activities at Fit For Life Penang

PETALING JAYA: The Fit For Life 2017 Penang fair has a line-up of interesting activities for the whole family in addition to a myriad of health and lifestyle products and services.

Families can check out the LIVE GREAT Skating and Mini Curling game at Great Eastern’s pavilion.

Both held on a synthetic ice skating rink, they provide fun ways to enjoy a cardio workout while bonding with your loved ones.

You can learn to skate and win exclusive prizes from the Mini Curling games.

For the more adventurous, try conquering three rock-climbing walls or challenge a buddy in a race to the top of the rock.

You can also get a snapshot of your current state of health at the Great Eastern Pavilion from Nov17-19.

Gleneagles Penang will be on hand to provide blood pressure test, glucose health check and exclusive health check packages.

Another activity that all visitors can try is Fit Bid.

This is where participants guess the price of hampers on display during the fair.

For every RM50 spent in the fair, one form is given. Each form provides a chance to bid for the hamper. The more forms you have, the more bids you can make, and the higher your chances of winning.

The one who guesses the price closest to the price of the hampers will win.

In case of a tie-break, each participant is required to render a creative signing of Fit For Life. A judging will then be done on site at the end of each day by the organiser, partner and sponsor (should there be any) to determine the winner for the day.

If you’re more inclined to watch than participate, then a series of dodgeball games will entertain the whole family, especially children.

Every kid loves throwing balls at some- thing or someone. It feels good to do that and dodgeball is a sport where it is legal to throw balls at another person!
