All Star Giveaway winners thrilled with their prizes
PETALING JAYA: A sweet Valentine’s Day is in store for All Star Giveaway main prize winner Carolyn Loh.
The 30-year-old finance manager took home a stay for two persons at the presidential suite of a five-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
“I’m surprised, happy and excited. I was just trying my luck and didn’t expect to get the main prize.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the presidential suite,” she said, adding that she would use her prize to celebrate Valentine’s Day with her husband.
The All Star Giveaway contest is Star Media Group’s way of saying thanks to The Star readers for their continuous support over the years. Exciting travel, lifestyle and entertainment prizes were given to winners for Week 1 and 2 of the giveaway.
Saravanan Kandaswamy, 40, said the RM1,000 beauty gift card he won would be his wife’s birthday gift.
“My wife and I joined the contest, and we are shocked because we have never won a contest before. Her birthday is next week so this prize is a gift for her,” he said.
Architect Afzan Yas Mohamad Ramli, 36, won travel points for return flights to Bali for two persons.
“I am so surprised. My friend and I were just talking about going to Bali next year.
“I saw the contest online and decided to give it a try. It was very simple,” she said.
