> A local company has designed underpants for the recently-circumcised and is selling them commercially, Sinar Harian reported.

Baco Medicare managing director Dr Aslan Bacho said the underpants were meant to speed up the healing process after circumcision.

“In the past, children had to wear a sarong and lie on their backs after they were circumcised.

“Knowing that children nowadays are active, we wanted to enable them to move freely after they were circumcised,” Dr Aslan said, adding that the research and development of the product were conducted early this year.

The underpants are breathable, made of cotton and cost RM39 a pair.
