Girl molested by her grandfather for four years

AN 82yearold grandfather has allegedly been molesting his granddaughter for the past four years, China Press reported.

The girl, now 10, kept silent out of fear that her parents might blame her. However, her stepmother felt something amiss recently when the victim refused to stay in her bedroom at about 1.45am on Sunday.

The girl then told her stepmother and father that the suspect had molested her since she was six years old.

It is learnt that the man lived alone but his children would take turns inviting him to stay with them for short periods.

The girl’s stepmother lodged a police report and the girl has been sent to Klang Hospital for a medical checkup. Police are investigating. >A 21yearold drug addict brought along his two children while he got his fix at a cybercafe in Kuala Lumpur, the same daily reported.

The man was arrested by the National AntiDrug Agency (NDA) during a raid at 1am on Sunday.

According to Cheras NDA chief Mohd Azlan Ahmad, the suspect said he brought along his children, aged two and three, because his wife was not at home.

A 16yearold drug addict who brought his nineyearold brother with him was also arrested during the raid.

The two suspects admitted that they got the drugs from elsewhere before going to the cybercafe to get high.
