Game-changer for PS4 console All Star winners
PETALING JAYA: The “PS4 Play Everything” winners of the All Star Giveaway can bring on their A-game with the latest PlayStation 4 (PS4) consoles and gear.
Tung Lip How, who collected the grand prize for his friend Yap Sun Ming, said he was happy that his friend won a PS4 and a virtual reality camera.
“I’m interested in PlayStation products and knew about the virtual reality set before my friend told me he won it,” said the 18-year-old college student, adding that he was looking forward to trying it out with Yap.
Veronnie Thu, 21, said she used to watch her older cousins play video games when she was seven.
The law student and her brother Terrell used to look forward to visit- ing their cousins’ house once every few months as they got to play the PS4.
“Now that I’ve won a PS4 for myself, my cousins can come over and play it at my house,” Veronnie, whose favourite game is Crash Bandicoot, said.
She said she posted about the prize all over social media because “it’s rare that you get so lucky”.
Sze Siew Choo will be wrapping up her PS4 Slim 1TB as a Christmas present for her nephew.
The 59-year-old retiree, who found out about the contest on Facebook, wanted to win a prize for her nephew Kevin.
“He used to play the PS3 but it broke,” she said, adding that she would pass it to her sister-in-law to be wrapped up and given to Kevin on Christmas Day.
Chong Zhen Feng, 25, said he couldn’t believe his luck when he was notified about the prize in a phone call.
The dentist said he used to play the PS2 when he was a child and plans to give the PS4 to a friend.
