Diana set for film comeback

Actress to return with slew of neww projects after five-fiveyeayea­r hiatus

ACTRESS Diana Danielle (pic) will return to the big screen after five years, with several new projects lined up for next year, Harian Metro reported.

Diana’s last acting project was the 2014 film Kami Histeria.

“I cannot announce the title of the new project right now, but the director is someone I have been wanting to work with,” she said.

Diana, 26, is currently shooting the upcoming television drama Coffee Prince.

On her singing career, Diana said she would come up with a new single in the near future.

Diana is married to film director Farid Kamil and they have two children aged two and four.

> The same daily also reported that actress and singer Nonny Nadirah Zainuddin will be tying the knot with her beau of eight years.

Nonny, 28, said the wedding would be held in February or March next year.

“Our relationsh­ip has had its ups and downs, but I’m m confident that he’s the best man t to be my husband,” she said.

“He has always b been supportive and understand­ing, and I consider his family as my own n.”

On her acting car reer, Nonny said she was grateful for t the last 10 years.

“I am lucky that evene when I am planning my wedd ding, I am still getting acting offers, ,” she added.

Nonny recently completedc filming for the upcomi ing television drama Melankolia.

> New psychoacti ive substances (NPS) have been found during police raids at popu ular nightclubs and entertainm­ent centres in the Klang Vallley, Kosmo! reported.

NPS are cheaper than synthetic drugs and aree becoming more popular becausse they can go undetected in urine tests.

“NPS are said to have originated from a country in East Asia, but the formula has been successful­ly replicated by other ‘experts’,” a source told the daily.

“In Malaysia, NPS were first detected in 2016, and anyone who takes high doses of it will look like a living corpse.”

The drugs are also gaining ppopularit­y in other states such aas Penang and Johor.
