> Thorny issue
The issue with Malaysian durians is that we do not have enough of the fruit that has caused their price to escalate. I hope our Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister doesn’t waste much time in getting a QR code for the Musang King. What he should focus on is to plant more durian trees to supply the fruit to the markets so that everybody can enjoy cheap durians.

It is not only the #savemerapoh campaign that the Government should emphasise to strictly fend off development. Development in any forest reserve will only benefit and enrich certain individuals. The Government shouldn’t allow the nation’s treasured heritage to be sacrificed. Our politicians must act responsibly by safeguarding our forest reserves.
