-

SRIXON Sports Asia this weekend put the 10th generation of the XXIO series on the market. Essentially there two models of the new XXIO X driver – the Regular and Miyazaki, which come with a price tag of RM2,990.

The flagship of the new series, the XXIO X driver Regular model offers high trajectory with a good feel, while the Miyazaki model offers a more penetrating trajectory with a slightly heavier club weight.

Commenting on the launch of the equipment, Srixon Sports Asia managing director Tommy Ieda said they were confident that the research and development put into the new line up would hold its own in the market and do well.

“The line includes the driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons and putters,” said Ieda.

“The new XXIO X series golf clubs adhere to our tag-line of ‘Experience Easier Distance’ which allows every golfer to hit the ball on the sweet spot and gain more distance easily, by featuring ‘True-Focus Impact Technology’ – a synergy effect between the newly developed shaft that promotes consistent body motion during the swing to tighten impact point dispersion and the new head that maximises COR performance at the sweet spot.”

Compared to the previous XXIO 9 series, added Ieda, the XXIO X driver adds five yards to the Regular model and three yards to the Miyazaki model.

In conjunction with the launch of the equipment, Srixon Sports Asia has engaged with several partners to carry a sales promotion that will see, among other things, a Toyota Fortuner given away as the grand prize.
