Niena loses confidence as her face breaks out during a shoot

ACTRESS Niena Baharun (pic) lost all confidence to meet people when she had a pimple breakout, reported Harian Metro.

The 24-year-old said her face was full of pimples while she was shooting the drama Misi Dania Cun a month ago.

“This is the first time I had such a big pimple problem. When I had long shoots before this, it was okay.

“I’ve gone for treatments and eaten supplements, but it’s still the same. I’ve also visited the doctors and was given medication,” said the Sayangku Kapten Mukhriz actress.

She added that her pimple breakout could be due to the hot weather and continuous use of makeup.

> Harian Metro also reported that a married couple were giving up their jobs as chefs in the city to continue their family legacy of selling charcoal.

Mohd Saidi Abd Kadir, who is from Labok, Kelantan, and his wife are the only charcoal sellers in the district.

“There is always high demand for our charcoal from sundry shop owners and food sellers,” he said, adding that he could earn about RM3,000 a month from sales.

“I decided to continue my late grandfather’s legacy of producing charcoal. He was the one who taught me about its process,” said Mohd Saidi, 43.

The 56-year-old, who is a corporal in Kuala Kangsar, said his father was on his way to the National Registration Department to register his name as Muhammad Yusuf.

“At that time, the film Aladdin was being shown in the cinemas. When my father arrived at the office, someone suggested to name me Alladin, and my father thought it sounded pleasant,” said Alladin.

He added that he was proud of his name as it serves as a good icebreaker with strangers.
