PETALING JAYA: Gavin Kyle Green has two holes left to make the cut at the Indonesian Masters.

The 23-year-old mixed two birdies with two bogeys and a double bogey to be two-over for the day through 16 holes when the second round play was suspended due to fading light at 5.40pm at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club.

Gavin, who opened with a two-under 70 on Thursday, is in a precarious position as he trails the projected cut line of one-under 143 by one shot.

He is tied for 76th spot on evenpar overall with 10 others including compatriot Nicholas Fung in the Asian Tour’s last stop.

Nicholas managed to finish his round by shooting a 73.

Danny Chia also completed his round by carding a 73 to be joint 87th on one-over 145, while Ben Leong retired midway through the round.

However, Malaysia could still be represented in the last two rounds with Arie Irawan Fauzi reaching the halfway stage on two-under 142.

Arie added a 72 to his opening 70 to sit joint 51st.

World No. 6 Justin Rose continued to stay ahead of the chasing pack with a two-shot lead over Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat through 16 holes.

Play will resume at 6.15am today with the third round scheduled to start no earlier than 8.45am.

Gavin will be among the 36 players returning to complete their remaining holes.
