Disabled children get the Star Wars treatment
PETALING JAYA: The “Force” was with the Children from Pusat Penjagaan KanakKanak Cacat Taman Megah at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The children were treated to the special appearance of the 501st Legion Malaysia Garrison and FightSaber members in Star Wars character costumes during a special event in conjunction with the holiday season.
The Star Wars club has aims of promoting charity, goodwill and

Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) organised the event to bring cheer to the children, as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The welfare home provides care for children who suffer from various brainrelated disabilities.
As special guests of the event, the children were also given festive gifts.
MAHB senior general manager of commercial services Mohammad Nazli Abdul Aziz said the yearend holiday season was always exciting and they were happy to host the children.
“We were excited to have this first collaboration with Maybank, as well as spreading the joy of giving through our CSR initiative,” he said.
Adding to the holiday excitement,
Malaysia Airports delighted airportgoers with glittery decorations and activities.
Our continuous aim is to add colours, excitement and joy in the lives of our patrons, he said.

“We hope that they enjoy the fes
tive spirit, activities and performances held throughout the month,” he said.
Airportgoers can expect to be serenaded by a lineup of talented entertainers and performances.
