> Walk for harmony

Congratulations to the Penang multifaith group. Their harmony walk should be emulated in every town in the country. This harmony walk will definitely bring Malaysians together. The Government must make this campaign compulsory. Let’s all walk together as Malaysians. – N. V. Subbarow, Penang

> Get social media

Referring to the Page 1 Sunday Star report yesterday, why trouble the cinema operators when they have done no wrong? Filmmakers should take action against social media like Facebook. It’s their users, let them take action! – See No Evil

> EPF convenience

Those aged 55 and above are happy that we can treat EPF like an ATM and it gives high interest rate too! High living cost and unemployment are killing us. We need the extra!

> Nab reckless bus drivers

I refer to the various letters regarding express buses. I travel by express bus often and I notice almost all drivers drive recklessly. JPJ should have officers travelling in express buses in order to book the errant drivers. – GANDHI, Seremban

> Just a form of investment

If I understand what I am reading on crypto currencies thus far, it’s just another form of investment cum currency like gold. If regulators are comfortable with gold, diamonds, silver and etc. circulating in global economies, why get overly excited about crypto currencies? One influential regulator called it “... the true barbarian at the gates.” Huh? What is more interesting and potentially very useful for mankind to focus on from the creation of crypto currencies is the ledger regime being used to track the authenticity of transactions.

> Spirit of G25

Thank you to G25 for its moderate and tolerant voice. – Sue

> Self improvement

President Trump, be the guiding light that will lead us to peace, not war. Don’t make provocative statements and wrong decisions that spark outrage and violent protests. As Aldous Huxley once said: “There’s only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.” – Peace-loving M’sian

> Possible solution

The Deputy Education Minister has gone to some lengths to facilitate the proposed name change of Regent International School in Pahang to St Thomas. Nevertheless, the alumni and many others still hope for the relocated government school to maintain the name of St Thomas, which has an excellent record as a public school. Perhaps both can co-exist respectively as St Thomas International School and SK and SMK St Thomas in future. – Beatle No.5
