Izzue and wife still want a baby

-

SINGER-ACTOR Muhammad Izzul Islam Mazlan, 27, better known as Izzue Islam, and his wife Awin Nurin, 34, are still trying to conceive, reports Harian Metro.

“We have tried a few methods but do not wish to share it here. The blessing comes from Allah and we want our efforts to be fruitful this time,” he told the paper.

“It was suggested we try in vitro fertilisation but we have yet to meet the doctor. This will be our last resort and we might try it this year.”

The idea of adoption has not crossed their mind, he added.

Izzue believes that Allah has not bestowed them with a child because He intends to bless their careers first.

“Maybe after we secure a calm and comfortable life, then we will be blessed with a child,” he said.

> The same daily reported that a single mother from Sungai Petani, Kedah, did not expect her nasi ayam panggang selling for RM1 would go viral on social media.

Surayani Mohd Nasir, 39, started her business two weeks ago in front of the Pekan Bedong public field, from 10am to 5pm.

According to her, 100kg of raw rice and 100 chickens are required to meet the daily demand.

“As a single mother, I have learnt to be thrifty and I want to help society by selling cheap but filling food,” she said.

“Even though it is priced at RM1, quality and hygiene are given priority. My concept is simple. Never mind if I earn less, as long as I get to support my children in the long run.”
