THE Regent of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, joined a charity car wash to raise funds for a child’s heart operation, reported Kosmo! Ahad.

Tengku Abdullah joined about 100 volunteers during the event on Saturday, which was organised by the Pahang Media Club to benefit Faheem Aqeem Mohamad Feisal.

The seven-month-old will undergo an operation next month at the National Heart Institute.

Faheem’s father is Sinar Harian’s Temerloh-based reporter Mohamed Feisal Mohamed Norawi, 36.

Tengku Abdullah urged Pahang citizens to do more for those in need.

“This will help strengthen our bond and allow us to better appreciate the hardships of the less fortunate,” said Tengku Abdullah.

> Her parents are celebrities, but four-year-old Aaisyah Dhia Rana will not get to act in TV dramas, reported BH Ahad.

Her parents, Rozita Che Wan and Zain Saidin, refuse to allow their daughter to take up roles in TV dramas.

“Zain wants our daughter to grow up like other children,” said Rozita, who is better known as Che Ta.

Che Ta said they may allow their daughter to be in commercials if schedules are not too demanding.

> A businessman claimed that photos of him on Facebook were used to set up fake accounts, reported Metro Ahad.

Ruslan Harun said he suspected the fake accounts were used to seduce women for money.

He said he noticed the accounts about two years ago, and has since received messages from users in Brunei, Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia asking him to confirm his identity.

He has reported the matter to Facebook.
