Izzue’s love for wife shines through in new song

-

ACTOR-singer Izzue Islam’s (pic) new single Muzik Tiduranku was co-produced with his wife Awin Nurin, reported Sinar Harian.

He said he was inspired to write the song after setting eyes on her.

“The song is about the love and affection someone has for their partner,” he said.

“If we are far apart, we would miss each other. So, we expressed our feelings into a song,” Izzue was quoted as saying.

The single can be found digitally across various music streaming platforms at the end of the month.

> The daily also reported that actress Puteri Sarah could make a return to show business after the birth of her child.

“I have reduced my acting gigs. The last time I appeared in a drama was three years ago when I acted alongside Ashraf Muslim for a TV series on Astro,” said the 33-yearold.

Puteri Sarah, who is the wife of director Syamsul Yusof, said she was waiting for the right time to resume her acting career.

“Before this, my husband and I had plans to work on a drama together. But it had to be postponed as he was committed to the film Munafik 2,” she said.

“Our son Syaikhul Islam is young and as much as possible, I would like to see him grow up although we have a helper,” she said.

> Kosmo! reported that a school in Shah Alam became the first to open a cafe run by students with special needs under the Special Education Integration Programme (PPKI).

Malaysia Building Society Bhd corporate planning and communications senior vice-president Azlina Mohd Rashad said Kafe Nines aimed to expose students under PPKI to the world of business from young.

According to her, 10 out of 96 PPKI students from SMK Seksyen 9 were selected to prepare food and drinks at the cafe such as doughnuts, pizza, spaghetti and macaroni.

“We’re proud of this initiative to help students with special needs and that is also supported by parents,” said Azlina after officiating the cafe’s opening on Monday.
