Suria FM radio DJ Fizi Ali a happily married man
KUALA LUMPUR: Suria FM radio announcer Fizi Ali is grateful that his wedding to actress Shakilla Khoriri went on smoothly.
Fizi, 29, said he hoped that all of their fans prayed for their happiness and for their marriage to last.
“Alhamdulillah (praise be to God), everything went well.
“We say thank you to those who prayed for us.
“Please pray for our happiness and for our marriage to last until jannah (heaven),” he told mStar Online.
The lovebirds were married by Shakilla’s father Khoriri Markon at 10.37am yesterday at the Chersonese Media Hall, Maju Junction Mall here.
The ceremony also saw Fizi presenting RM300 as dowry while the amount of the cash gift (wang hantaran) was undisclosed.
Fizi presented Shakilla, also 29, with five trays of wedding gifts and in return, received seven trays from the bride’s family.

Fizi, who was a former contestant on the second season of theatre drama acting contest Pilih Kasih, met Shakilla while filming the telemovie Tuty Polkadot in 2012.
Fizi is curently the morning show presenter on Ceria Pagi Suria alongside Zulin Aziz and Halim Othman.
The couple got engaged on July 16 last year after four years of courtship.
The wedding reception was held at the same location on the same night.
