THE 1Malaysia Indian Student Movement (1MISM) will meet 10,000 potential university students in a series of seminars to help them get into public universities, Makkal Osai reported.

Association president Mahaganapathy Dass said 1MISM had been conducting such seminars and workshops for SPM and STPM leavers for the past five years.

“The association is keen on ensuring the 7% allocation given to Indian students since 2013 is filled every year,” he said.

The 1MISM chief, who spoke to 200 students at a seminar at Universiti Malaya on Saturday, said the seminars would take place in 14 locations around the country to reach as many students and their parents as possible.
