GLC bosses champion ‘Hebat Negaraku’
PETALING JAYA: A heartwarming music video titled Hebat Negaraku by heads of government-linked companies (GLCs) has been released on YouTube.
The music video, uploaded on Thursday, showcases the musical talents of 14 GLC heads and staff members as they perform the catchy song on stage.
Axiata Group chief corporate officer Mohamad Idham Nawawi, Sime Darby Property Bhd managing director Datuk Seri Amrin Awaluddin and UEM Sunrise chairman Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa are seen playing the guitar. All the other GLC heads sing. The song is about the greatness, advancement and inspiration of Malaysia.
The music video also features several photos of GLC heads engaging with the community and social causes via various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The video ends with the words: “Continuing the nation’s greatness through GLCs”.
CIMB Group Holdings Bhd CEO Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz, Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd CEO Khairul Kamarudin, Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd managing director Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Mohd Badlisham and UEM Group Bhd CEO Datuk Izzaddin Idris were among the vocalists.
