In conjunctio­n with JPJ’s 72nd anniversar­y celebratio­ns, motorists with unsettled summonses will be given a 70% discount from April 2 to April 30. In a way, this is encouragin­g motorists to break traffic laws. What about motorists who have already settled their summonses? In future, motorists would be wiser and not settle their summonses promptly because our enforcemen­t is not strict. – CT Tan
