> Mind our manners

You can disagree with John Torode all you want, but calling him names on social media is totally immature and unacceptable. Do we insult people whom we disagree with? – Nasir

> Training for interviews

It is pleasing to note that the Government is taking initiatives to increase the intake of Indians in the civil service from the current 4.2% to 7% within 10 years. The Socioeconomic Development of Indian Community Unit (Sedic) must conduct training on how to handle interviews for all the potential candidates to give them more confidence. – C. Sathasivam Sitheravellu

> Better service, please

I lodged a complaint at the KTM Subang Jaya station on the unruly crowd there during evening peak hours when passengers push and shove their way in and out of the station. I’ve seen people tripping and dropping their personal belongings. I asked for officers to be stationed at the platform to control the crowd but nothing has been done so far. Please do something fast, KTM. – J Devan On April 3, I boarded a train at KL Sentral at 5.43pm and reached Putra at 6.29pm. The ride was simply disappointing and stressful. The amateur track upgrading work has contributed to this drastically deteriorated service. – PJ Gomes

> Toilets for seniors

If I were a high-ranking enforcement officer in the Health Department, my priority would be to instruct owners or managers of all restaurants, coffee shops and pubs to provide customers who are senior citizens with clean sitting toilets. Many premises are equipped with only squatting toilets which are suitable for young and middle-aged people but not for the elderly. It’s time we do something for senior citizens. – Yee Sai Lee

> Unethical retailers

Supermarkets should not sell eggs with the expiry dates altered. – Josephine

> Connection interrupted

For over a year, I have been pestered to switch from Streamyx to Unifi for better service. Now that I’ve finally switched, my connection has been down since April 1, just three weeks after I signed up for it. Called no less than twice a day since then but I’m only told that the technician is checking the system. Is this better service? – Bob T

> Future jeopardy

It is undoubtedly humane for Malaysia to rescue the Rohingya refugees from their boat and place them in our immigration camp. But beware, this might cause problems later. – Mohd Yusuf Bahadur
