Boy, 13, held for having sex with 14-year-old

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy in Padawan, Sarawak, was arrested for having sex with his girlfriend, who is a year older, reported Oriental Daily.

Police arrested the boy, who is from Sg Tapang on Tuesday, after the girl’s grandmothe­r lodged a report.

The grandmothe­r claimed that the girl had gone out with the boy on March 29.

In her report, she said the boy had brought the girl to a homestay nearby and had sex with her there.

The boy is under remand while the girl was sent for a medical check-up.

> The daily also reported that a woman in Kuantan, Pahang, lost RM52,000 after she entrusted her ATM card to her neighbour.

The woman, who is a restaurant worker, claimed that she had asked her neighbour for help to check her bank balance.

Pahang CID chief Supt Mohd Wazir Yusof said the 41-year-old victim handed over her bank card to the neighbour, known as Kak Pah, in May last year.

“When she asked for her ATM card back, the neighbour gave excuses and refused to do so,” he said.

Suspecting something was wrong, the woman checked her bank balance and was shocked to find RM52,000 missing.

He said that a couple in their 50s were later arrested for cheating.

The woman, who was not named, told the daily that she had offered to pay for the damage immediatel­y after the cover was broken.

She claimed that a cafe worker asked her to pay RM550 after consulting with the owner, claiming that the container was imported from Italy.

The woman took to social media with her complaint, claiming that there was no proof that the container was from Italy.
