The article on the mother who was wary of seeking help was judgemental, “When too much pride can hurt” ( StarMetro, April 24). I believe the mother refused to be in the news not because of pride but to preserve her dignity. People may be poor but they still have dignity. The correct approach is important. Being judgemental is not one of them.
