YONG PENG: Pakatan Harapan is going full speed ahead with its spread of propaganda, says Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

“This is because it has neither the track record nor plans for the people to judge it on,” the Johor Mentri Besar said at the ground-breaking ceremony to build 153 affordable homes here yesterday.

The project includes 13 shoplots priced at RM170,000 each.

Mohamed Khaled also said candidates who treated constituencies as their “transit points” were not worthy of support.

“This candidate was in Bukit Bendera in Penang in 2008 before hopping over to Kluang in Johor in 2013,” he said, referring to Pakatan Harapan’s Liew Chin Tong, who is contesting the Ayer Hitam parliamentary seat held by MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The two state seats under Ayer Hitam are Semarang and Yong Peng.

Mohamed Khaled praised Dr Wee and incumbent Semarang assemblyman Datuk Samsol Bari Jamali for their untiring efforts to help their constituents.

“They understand the needs of Ayer Hitam folk and know how to fulfil it,” he said.

Khaled also endorsed Barisan’s Yong Peng candidate Ling Tian Soon of MCA, who is contesting for the first time.

All three seats will see three-cornered fights.
