LONDON: Match-by-match facts and statistics ahead of the Premier League fixtures this week: TOMORROW

■ Burnley vs Bournemouth

THE clubs have faced each other on 27 occasions in all competitions prior to tomorrow’s match, but Bournemouth have beaten Burnley only five times before.

Bournemouth last beat Burnley in the Premier League last season, winning 2-1 at home on May 13, 2017.

Burnley are without a win in four games, but have a five-point lead over eighth-placed Everton and are assured of a spot in next season’s Europa League.

■ Crystal Palace vs West Brom

WEST Brom’s eight-year stay in the top-flight ended in relegation on Tuesday after Southampton beat Swansea.

West Brom staged a late revival under caretaker boss Darren Moore, winning three games in an unbeaten five-match run, but are five points adrift of safety ahead of their last match.

Palace, also unbeaten in their last five games, are 11th in the table.

Hodgson steered Palace to safety in style two weeks ago with a 5-0 win over Leicester, before beating Stoke 2-1 last Saturday.

■ Huddersfield vs Arsenal

ARSENE Wenger takes charge of his final game for Arsenal with the club destined for Europa League football for the second successive season.

Huddersfield are in a celebratory mood after securing their top-flight survival with a 1-1 draw at Chelsea on Tuesday.

Arsenal are sixth in the table, 12 points off a Champions League place.

Wenger’s team are the only side in English league football to fail to win a single away point in 2018, losing all seven games on the road so far this year.

Huddersfield were favourites to be relegated in their first season back in the top flight, but their back-to-back draws with champions Manchester City and Chelsea have left them in 16th place on 37 points.

■ Liverpool vs Brighton LIVERPOOL need to avoid a home defeat by Brighton to ensure a topfour finish and secure Champions League football next season.

The Merseyside club are currently fourth on 72 points, two more than fifth-placed Chelsea and have a superior goal difference of 15 goals.

Liverpool have not lost a Premier League match at Anfield this season, winning 11 and drawing seven of their 18 home fixtures.

Brighton have won only two away games all season, with their last win on the road coming against Swansea in November.

Brighton have not beaten Liverpool in 34 years, with their last victory over the Merseysiders coming in the FA Cup in 1984 when they won 2-0.

■ Manchester United vs Watford

UNITED have secured second place in the table but trail champions Manchester City by 19 points.

Watford snapped a seven-game winless run by beating Newcastle last Saturday.

Watford’s only victory at Old Trafford came in the 1978 League Cup.

United have won all but one of their last 14 games against Watford, stretching back to 1987.

Watford’s only win over United in that period was in the Premier League last season, when they won 3-1 at Vicarage Road.

■ Newcastle vs Chelsea

CHELSEA need to beat Newcastle and hope Liverpool lose at home to Brighton to avoid finishing outside the Champions League positions.

Chelsea are currently fifth, two points behind Liverpool, who have a far superior goal difference.

The London club were held to a 1-1 draw by Huddersfield on Wednesday that dented their top-four hopes.

Newcastle have not beaten Chelsea in their last five encounters, losing four times and drawing once.

Newcastle are 10th in the league on 41 points ahead of their final match of the season and have lost their last four games. Southampton vs Manchester City

MANCHESTER City can become the first English team to reach 100 points in a top-flight season if they beat Southampton.

The champions have already broken the record for most wins and most goals in a single Premier League season.

Southampton beat Swansea 1-0 on Tuesday to all but ensure they stay in the Premier League next season.

Southampton are three points above Swansea, who will be relegated unless they beat already-relegated Stoke and City thrash Southampton at St Mary’s to effect a 10-goal swing.

City have won two and drawn one of their last five visits to Southampton, with the Saints winning on the other two occasions.

■ Swansea vs Stoke

STOKE are already relegated, while Swansea are teetering on the brink of going down, needing victory and a heavy Southampton defeat by Manchester City to survive.

Swansea are without a win in their last nine games, with six defeats and three draws.

Stoke have not won a league game since Jan 20, and have a record of six defeats and seven draws in 13 matches since then. ■ Tottenham vs Leicester TOTTENHAM need victory on the final day of the season to ensure they finish third.

If Spurs lose or draw against Leicester and fourth-placed Liverpool beat Brighton at home, the Merseyside club will leap-frog the Londoners either on points or by virtue of their superior goal difference.

Spurs are guaranteed Champions League football for a third successive season.

Leicester beat Arsenal on Wednesday to snap a five-game winless run that included four defeats.

Tottenham were beaten 2-1 by Leicester in the reverse fixture in November.

■ West Ham vs Everton

WEST Ham have lost three, drawn two and won one of their last six league matches against Everton.

Everton are eighth in the table and unbeaten in their last five league games, with two wins and three draws.

West Ham beat Leicester 2-0 on Saturday to snap a four-game winless run and drew 0-0 with Manchester United on Thursday.

If West Ham end the season in their current position of 15th place, it will represent their worst finish since the club won promotion back to the top flight in the 2011-12 season.
