Siti Sarah set to perform second umrah
SINGER Siti Sarah, who will be performing the umrah in Mecca, said her eventual decision whether to wear the tudung or not is between her and God.
“I do not want to think about what others are saying.
“I will leave this to God. Please pray for me,” she was quoted to as saying in Metro Ahad.
The 34-year-old said this would be her second time to Mecca.
“It will be my first time celebrating Ramadan there,” said Siti Sarah, who will be accompanied by her husband and mother-inlaw.
Her first visit was in 2005.

She spoke of seeing decaying bodies and dealing with the stench.
“I used to be nervous in the early days of the job,” she said, adding that she had now gotten used to it.
Insp Nasapira, 39, however said that she could not help feeling sad for family members who lost their loved ones.
It was not easy having to deal with anguished families at the scene of the accident, said the mother of two, who is based at the Gerik police station in Perak as a traffic investigating officer.
A graduate in social science, she was also active in many sports, including karate, prior to her marriage.

She is planning to introduce three dishes – ayam masala, ayam lemak betutu and kari sayuran.
Nisa, who is the author of I Am Not a Chef, said she had done a two-month research before coming up with the menu.
