Dewi Persik reveals divorce reason nine years later

-

ALTHOUGH singer Dewi Persik divorced from her husband nine years ago, it is only now she has revealed the cause behind the break-up, reported Kosmo!

Dewi said her ex-husband, actor Aldi Taher, had not fulfilled his marital responsibilities (nafkah zahir dan batin) to her.

“I respect Aldi because he’s very open. He has admitted his mistake, which is that he did not fulfil his responsibilities as a husband,” said Dewi during a television show.

She said they had only gotten married as a result of a bet between Aldi and his friends, which also indirectly contributed to their divorce.

“He did not genuinely love me, which is why I feel traumatised with men,” she said, adding that she has forgiven Aldi.
