Chow Yun Fat gets surprise birthday bash
HONG Kong megastar Chow Yun Fat, whose wife threw him a surprise birthday gathering, danced with veteran actor Patrick Tse-yin during the party.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the 63rd birthday bash, which was held last Friday, was also attended by actor Alex Fong.
Chow was in a lively mood and danced with Tse, 81.
Known as a hiking enthusiast, Chow joked that he wanted to bring Tse along for a trip.
Chow’s wife Jasmine Tan got a birthday cake which displayed two figurines of her sitting on Chow’s lap.
“Wishing you a happy birthday, good health and may your dreams come true,” said Tan.
Chow quipped that his birthday wish was to continue hiking.
He said he would usually go hiking before starting work.

Some of the diners were spotted queueing up as early as 8am.
Seven food operators prepared the food to cater for about 1,500 people last Sunday.
One of them made 40 steamed chicken while another seller arranged for eight roasted ducks, 8kg of barbecued pork and 8kg of roast pork.
Other items on the menu included nasi lemak, wan tan mee and vegetarian meals.
According to the daily, the donor decided to provide the free lunch after learning that Penang food traders also gave out free food to celebrate Pakatan’s victory.
