Ayda: Redza and I are just good friends

-

ACTRESS and singer Ayda Jebat still insists that she and actor Redza Rosli are just “good friends”, reported Kosmo!.

Ayda, whose real name is Nur Suhada Jebat, said that the rumour that they are dating could have come about because they are both public figures.

“Because we are both actors who are close (to each other), it is easy for the public to start speculating.

“But we are just good friends and there is nothing else between us,” said the 26-year-old, adding that the rumour could also have started due to the fact that she did not have many friends in the industry, so her friendship with him could have been fodder for gossip.

> The daily also reported that a 14-year-old student lost three of his fingers on his right hand after playing with a modified firecracker.

Muhammad Ridzwan Abdul Rashid, who is a person with disability (OKU), lost three fingers during the 8pm incident on Sunday in Kampung Taman Tasik, Kuala Besut in Terengganu.

His brother Azlan Shah, 34, said that Muhammad Ridzwan was playing with a ball-shaped firecracker with his friends at a field near their house when the incident occurred.

“I was told that my brother opened a few firecrackers and poured the contents into a glass bottle using newspapers and straws.

“The mixture exploded in his right hand before he could throw it,” said Azlan.

> Patrons got a shock when a four-wheel drive crashed into a packed burger stall in Jalan Mohd Salleh, Batu Pahat on Sunday, reported Harian Metro.

Four people were injured in the 11.30pm incident.

Nurfarahim Elias, 28, who is pregnant, suffered a broken rib while her husband Enam Ahmad, 32, was left with a broken leg. Two other patrons were left with bruises on their bodies.

Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Wahib Musa said it is believed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
