Experts to speak on how to look good medically during expo
PETALING JAYA: Medical experts in beauty and health will be speaking during the Star Health Expo 2018.
The DoctorOnCall.com.my speakers, presented by Great Eastern, are Dr Jasmine Ruth Yuvarani and Dr Douglas Yuen.
Both will share their knowledge and tips on various topics related to aesthetic and vigour.
Dr Jasmine, who is the medical director for Nexus Group of Clinics, will provide tips on how to medically maintain healthy skin and hair on July 14, at 1pm.
A well-respected and leading aesthetic physician, she will share how skin and hair health can be better managed safely and effectively through medical means during her hour-long talk.
Visitors can also learn more about the science behind hair loss due to male pattern balding, hormones, stress and how to manage it better.
The effects of aging, sun-damage and other factors that will affect our skin, will also be highlighted in her talk.
Dr Jasmine will also be debunking myths behind medically approved treatments such as botox, dermal fillers and lasers.
Meanwhile, Dr Yuen, a senior medical aes- thetic and wellness specialist from Nexus Group of Clinics, will share tips on boosting immunity and maintaining weight.
He will also speak about obesity, issues related to nutrition, exercising and hormones.
Dr Yuen, who is also a certified fitness instructor, will also share medical solutions and provide real life case studies on how to effectively shed the kilos and keep it off through safe and effective medical means.
He is scheduled to speak on July 15, at 1pm.
Star Health Expo 2018 with the theme “Get Fit. Live Great!” is to inspire Malaysians to lead a healthy lifestyle and adopt a holistic approach that includes physical and mental health, emotional well-being and financial wellness.
The expo is organised by I.Star Events Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Star Media Group Bhd with Great Eastern Life as exclusive event partner.
It will be held in Halls 1 to 3 of the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from July 13 to July 15. It is open from 10am to 7pm and admission is free.
