‘Trillion Bun’ selling like hot cakes

-

A BAKERY in Bandar Baru Klang, Selangor, has shown that there’s “dough” in the bun.

A coffee and chocolate bread created by RT Pastry House, dubbed “Trillion Bun”, is selling like hot buns, er, cakes.

In a report in China Press, a spokesman for the bakery said more than 1,000 pieces of the bread inspired by the country’s RM1 trillion debt have flown off the shelves in 12 days.

The Chinese character zhao (trillion) is written on the top of the bun.

For every bun sold, RM1 will be donated to Tabung Harapan Malaysia, the spokesman said.
