Actress Soo receives second Master’s degree
SINGER-ACTRESS Soo Wincci received her second Master’s – Master of Music in Music Production, Technology and Innovation from the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain, reported Kosmo!.
Soo said on her Instagram post she is excited to graduate from the renowned college, adding that it has always been her dream to study there.
Soo, a law graduate from Britain’s University of Reading, also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia. She later continued her PhD in business administration with the Open University of Malaysia.

Muhd Ali Yunus, 73, said the condition of the family home he has been sharing for more than 20 years with his wife and son in Kampung Cheker, Gaal, Kelantan, has deteriorated badly.
He said one portion of the house was converted into his son’s bedroom and living room, while an extension was built for the kitchen and bedroom for him and his wife.
“As we can’t afford cement flooring, we’re using old mats and used carpets. I am also using zinc pieces as makeshift walls, and many times we have had poisonous snakes and monitor lizards coming into our house. Thankfully, nothing bad has happened so far,” he said.
Muhd Ali said he used to receive aid from the Welfare Department but it was stopped after it found out that his other son works with the Government in the Klang Valley.
The family, he said, receives some money from the son but it is insufficient.
“Now, I tap rubber but the prices of rubber are so low that some days, it is hard to even earn RM10 a day. I am not well too ... I am a diabetic,” he said.
Muhd Ali’s wife, Mariam Deraman, 65, too, suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure while their 37-year-old son Asri Ibrahim is an odd-job labourer.
“I hope someone can help us so we can live in a better place. It’s unbearable when it rains as there are many holes in the house,” he said.
