Three executive committee members leave FA of Selangor

PETALING JAYA: The Football Associatio­n of Selangor (FAS) have confirmed the resignatio­ns of three office bearers under new president Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddi­n Idris Shah’s new administra­tion.

Three executive committee members resigned while another announced his retirement at the FAS extraordin­ary general meeting (EGM) which was held on July 3.

Vice-presidents Datuk Lim Thean Sheang and Nizam Sani and secretary-general Rosman Mohd Ibrahim have tendered their resignatio­ns while treasurer Datuk S. Sivasun- dram will retire at the end of the ongoing M-League season.

The FAS have thanked Thean Sheang, Nizam, Sivasundra­m and Rosman for their services.

Mohd Izhar Moslim and Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon have been appointed as the new vice-presidents while the latter is the new secretary-general.

Tengku Amir Shah, who is also the Raja Muda of Selangor, will host a workshop in relation to the associatio­n’s future on Aug 4-6.

FAS members and external stake holders will be invited to give their input for the betterment of the associatio­n.
