Voice behind Upin & Ipin enrols for varsity

-

ASYIELA Putri Azhar who has been the voice behind the animated characters Upin and Ipin for the past few years, has registered as a new student at Multimedia University (MMU).

She is one of the 1,800 new students who enrolled for the July 2018 intake at MMU’s three different campuses in Cyberjaya, Melaka and Johor.

Asyiela, 18, who has enrolled for a Foundation of Creative Multimedia, said she has mixed feelings about becoming a student at the university.

“It marks a new chapter in my life.

“I need to manage my time wisely for my education as well as being the voice behind Upin & Ipin.

“When I was in school, I managed to organise and prioritise things that needed to be done,” she said.

Asyiela explained that she has been the voice of the animated characters since she was 10.

She hopes to become an advertising entrepreneur in the future.

“I hope to carry on with my voice over activities during the weekends so as not to disrupt my studies,” she added.

Other sports personalities who registered as new students at MMU include Adam Muqrish Azlisham, 18, Nurul Azurin Mazlan, 18 and Jessica Susanne, 18.

Adam Muqrish said: “The most important thing for athletes is to balance our schedules carefully so that our studies are not neglected.”

He has registered at the Faculty of Creative Multimedia at the university.

Nurul Azurin and Jessica, expressed their interest in Information Technology (IT).

Yeo Wee Sern, 18, from Segamat, Johor has enrolled in an IT programme at the university.

She said she would work hard for her future.
