Chou wants wife as lead in film

TAIWANESE star Jay Chou, who is producing a car racing film, was said to be reserving the lead actress role for his wife Hannah Quinlivan (pic), Sin Chew Daily reported.

Hannah, a model and actress, is considered a newcomer in the film industry.

She recently starred in a Hollywood film Skyscraper alongside Dwayne Johnson.

Chou and Hannah declined to comment on the report and diverted the question to the film production company instead.

Preparatio­ns for the film are currently underway, with its director and lead actress being finalised.

Chou said earlier he wanted to be like Hong Kong actor Andy Lau, who invested in movies and gave opportunit­ies to young directors.

The 77-year-old billionair­e said she was very strict in educating her children, spending as much time with them as possible and bringing them to her office.
