-

ACTRESS Rita Rudaini (pic) said many young men have been messaging her on Instagram asking for her hand in marriage, Kosmo!

reported.

Rita said she was shocked to find so much interest in “getting to know her better”.

“I have received direct messages from strangers. Some even dared to propose,” she said.

However, she said she did not reply their messages because she was not interested.

The actress, 42, is famous for her role as Mami Jarum Junior in Dulang Wan Chu.

> Former Malaysian Psychiatric Association (MPA) president Prof Dr Nor Zuraida Zainal said stress levels are the highest among teachers compared to other professions in Malaysia, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“Universiti Putra Malaysia researchers found that 71.1% of teachers in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor have stress-related problems,” the report said.

“Young teachers are more often under pressure because they face students who act up and harassment from parents.

“Added to that are personal problems including long-distance marriages.”

The National Union of the Teaching Profession (NUTP) president Kamarozaman Abd Razak said the problem of depression among teachers is serious, especially with those working in cities.

Recently, in Ipoh, a teacher suffering from depression was found dead after she fell from the fifth floor of a supermarket.

“Stress can be addressed with counselling before it escalates into depression,” said Kamarozaman.
